Microsoft releases wireless optical mouse

Microsoft introduced on Tuesday three new optical mice, including a wireless model. The new IntelliMouse Explorer mice range in price from $55 to $75 and use Microsoft's IntelliEye optical technology, which allows a mouse to capture 6,000 pictures per second for smooth cursor control. The Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer is powered by two AA batteries and can be used up to 6 feet away, or even out of sight, from the receiver.
