Microsoft packages photo software

Microsoft on Tuesday released a new digital photo software package. Digital Image Suite 9 combines the Digital Image Library application for organizing and archiving photos and Digital Image Pro for editing images.

The organizer software includes faster tools for importing photos from cameras and card readers and a more extensive set of labeling and categorizing options. The editing package includes new tools for automatically removing unwanted objects from photos, removing blemishes from an image and saving a photo to a mobile device. Digital Image Suite 9 is available now priced at $129.
