What? they finally going to put a decent CLI in Windows? :P

Or is this just another "We're just as cool as Steve & Company" stunt? If I'm not mistaken...

PocketPC (Win CE).. was going to "change" my life..oops

TabletPC...well this is really going to "change" your life (and we mean it this time)....oops

(insert catchy product moniker here)Live! now this is really, really, really going to "change" your life (no foolin' this time).

Get with the program Microsoft and just face the facts, you're not as cool as Apple and never will be so just shaddup and start working on a new version of Visual Studio and SQL Server. :)

Desktop pic?

Why does the Flash show a Mac Desktop background? That's
mildly annoying... I have no problem with Microsoft creating an
iPod killer, but I'm so tired of their obsession with Apple.

They need to clear their minds before designing this stuff... by
the time they ship the Aqua rip-off theme in Vista, OS X will
have moved on (and away from translucent bubbles.)

With all the resources MS has, couldn't they just come up with
something that didn't start with an Applesque opening quote,
"Hello..." and a Mac Desktop background.

And I don't want to hear about how the designers "snuck" it in
there. Any responsible manageer would point out that the
desktop belonged to Mac OS X in a heartbeat, and if they didn't
want it in there, would have it swapped.

So the question becomes, what does MS hope to achieve with
this? 1) Fool people? 2) Convince people they're as good as
Apple? 3) Irk Apple and community to create buzz?

This is "flame-vertising." You put something online that you
know the Mac freaks will ***** about thus creating mindshare
for Origami. A page right out of Dvorak's book, "How to become
a house-hold name when you're a fan-boy with no credibility."

I would have preferred MS just show us something great, and
not try to be Apple Jr.

Origami is still Microsoft

LOL! at Xopher! I think you've peeped Microsoft's game. 'Cool' is
just not that company. They shouldn't even try. Strive for
'competent' instead.
