Tell Bill Gates and Bill Clinton not to forget the Carbon Content
by Manhattan2 May 17, 2007 7:19 AM PDT
While most of our research has been on the production side with that research being sent directly to Bill Clinton and Al Gore we have also explored ways to conserve energy. Because of energy losses it is much easier and cheaper to reduce your power consumption that it is to produce the same amount of power you are saving. This is due to energy losses in production and distribution of the power.

It is evident that we will all have to start watching the carbon dioxide emissions our cars, industrial plants, and manufacturing of products produce.

The CarbonContent will be a value that will help you realize either the amount of Carbon Dioxide that was created to produce a product you are purchasing or the efficiency factor that using that product has compared to other products.

An SUV not only produces more Carbon Dioxide for every mile driven than most cars, its manufacturing factor created tons of CO2 emissions.

CarbonContent will be used much in the same way we all got accustomed to looking at the caloric content of food.

Manhattan2.com seeks to find the answers to the pressing issues facing all of us.

A word of warning to Microsoft
by wildchild_plasma_gyro May 17, 2007 10:41 AM PDT
You may have the lead today but would the clinton group like you if you was not that.
Amongst these people who the clinton triangle would not even speak too, some are very clever and may have some excellent solutions to our animal eco form and technologies.
Google may accumilate a lot of interest but you have the experience and technical know how to really work organiclly with more professional crative pursuits.
I totaly love those winhec computer designs.
So my warning is this don't let small midedness get in the way of real evolutionary ways and ideas.
and the most important peice of advice.
No matter how much fear you have for holding your prominance don't underestiate your fine team of experienced and clever peoples ability to compete and evolve.
Also money and wealth arent absolutly directly related.
For example if you spent $5000 dollars on a table that propergated some deforestation then you have made a sacrifice and lowered the longterm over all wealth that your money is worth hence meaning you'll need $10000
to buy the same thing next time.

I say all this because if you really look at it both you and intel have made a lot of money that you would not have made because of how diverse the compuer market is.
If this was all uniform(even if it had the tag microsoft on it) Your creativity would be limited and you would slowly have less power over what you were doing.
So i say this, yes Clinton Admin be ecologically in love not just looking for gas solutions but microsoft although supporting good moves Microsoft belongs to Micrsoft

It saddens me that there is so much hype surrounding and focus upon the 'green' movement - also that Microsoft has succumbed to and joined the global warming hysteria. Don't get me wrong, it is good to always work to reduce our footprint in the world, and global warming IS happening (but so has global cooling - many times in earths history!) Nevermindthat that the majority of scientists in the world (87%) do not believe that human activities impact the earths climate to the degree that they and the news media would like us to believe! Why believe these rational educated scientists? The Polar icecaps are melting on Mars too - is it because there are too many factories and Martians driving SUV's?

Global warming is a a rehashing of the 1970's pollution hyteria (remember "earth day"?) and it's designed to unite people against a oommon enemy. It's a cap and ball game. When our politicians can't cope with our real problems they attempt to distract us. Global warming hysteria is designed to take our minds and hearts away from the big social problems like runaway immigration, crime, and jobs moving overseas and to promote an underlying agenda, which is to redistribute the wealth and power of the US to the rest of the world, in the name of the 'global economy' and 'global good', Read this as helping to make the US join the ranks of the third world, and eventually creating a climate ripe for (world) socialism. Anyone who is mistaken about this, has not done their homework as to how enamoured with Marxism that Bill & Hillary Clinton have been for most of their political lives. Ok, lest I sound like a whacko, let's for the moment consider that perhaps Bill Clinton desires to create some kind of legacy to attempt to make up for his embarrasingly ineffective and morally bereft Presidency?? Hmmm.

The green movement will hamstring American business with massive regulation and promote thousands of dollars spent on spurious 'green' businesses and technologies that will cost thousands more, and create marginal benefit - note that the demand for corn (for ethanol) is currently dramatically raising US food prices. Oops, we forgot that cattle eat corn too! The green movement will also place massive regulation and sacrifice on the American public - while allowing developing nations like China and India to freely pollute at alarming levels. Now hey, where is all that oil we were supposed to be fighting in Iraq for? What?! No refineries built in the US for 32 years because we were told refineries were very bad and created air pollution?! Can it be that we have shot ourselves in the foot in our noble quest for 'the environment' and are paying almost $4 a gallon for gas? But we should feel good aout this yes? We are 'going green'! - doesn't it feel good? The supreme irony to me will be that in the next ten to twenty years - we will be forced into riding bicycles in the US, while more & more Chinese will be driving cars. I guess it makes good press to 'go green', but Microsoft should wake up - you are being used useful idiots.
