Maybe they should outsource more
by DecliningUSDollar September 13, 2006 9:55 AM PDT
Imagine if they outsourced the entire company to India! I cringe everytime that I must call Dell tech support and speak to "Bob" and can tell that "Bob" is reading from a script and has no idea what he is talking about. I have returned to purchasing computers from established small local vendors. The quality is equal or better and the level of tech support is far superior to what Dell and the like can deliver. There is so much more flexibility when dealing with smaller companies and their sales "dude" isn't constantly calling and emailing me about the latest offer of a free printer that I don't want.
