The Gamer IRL
Casual gaming is a coming of age story. I used to spend a lot more time being a hardcore gamer in both console and PC games. I'd wait to buy the next console or upgrade my video card. I'd spend hours plays FPS' and a range of other games. As I have gotten older though I got married and have a daughter. I still enjoy playing games but I can't sit and play for days on end drinking caffienated soda and eating chips. It's easier to pick something up and just veg out for a bit when it's a "casual game"

Where do the men play?
I wonder how they got their data. Most classical casual games websites told me the huge majority of their visitors would be women. So where do the men sneak in?
One possible sollution could be that men are more likely to play on www.newgrounds.com etc.. Most Games there can also be called "casual" if you mean easy to pick up. But on the other hand many of the games on newgrounds have some gore which is something which does not fit other definitions of casual games. For example you won't find any gore on pogo.com etc. Could turn of the women...
