McAfee adds paid version of SiteAdvisor

McAfee on Monday announced McAfee SiteAdvisor Plus, an expanded version of its Web safety tool. Priced at $24.99, the Plus edition doesn't just flag sites as safe, suspected or dangerous, which the standard, free version does. It enforces SiteAdvisor?s safety ratings and shields computers from going to risky sites by checking links that arrive in e-mail and instant messages, and by adding enhanced detection of phishing sites, McAfee said in a statement.

A trial version of SiteAdvisor Plus is available from CNET Download.com and McAfee.
