$2500 for 37" LCD?
by shellyle August 9, 2007 2:48 PM PDT
$2,500 sounds a bit exaggerated even given the latest upswing in the 37in LCD category prices where the current price tag is not more than $1200 (or maybe it's the higher standard of living in Japan vs. the US - can't imagine it's so much higher)

37 inch LCD televisions in 1080P by Panasonic
by jpetersaz August 10, 2007 2:03 PM PDT
Prices on 37 inch LCD 1080P televisions will have to come down to 1500 before they become practical for the public to buy.At the present time prices are too high due to extreme pressures on the customer budget .Such as gas prices double from a year ago/ Produce prices up 40% from 2 years ago . The average consumer will not go into severe debt for a LCD television until prices come down
