Maker of disposable RFID tags gets millions

Sweden's Cypak, which has developed a throwaway radio frequency identification tag, announced that the Swedish Industrial Development Fund has invested 30 million kronor (about $4 milllion) into the company.

Cypak's RFID tags are designed to be incorporated into paper and other disposable items to enhance security and deter fraud. The technology has already been licensed to the North American packaging company MeadWestvaco for medical packages. The German and Swedish postal services have also tested it out. Infineon is working on tags that can be incorporated into visas and passports.

Who said peaceful and self-absorbed John spent too much time in his room, on the island of Patmos, ?Brain-ware Web Surfing on his bio-computer? He knew of what he spaketh.

Revelations 13:16-17: And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads; And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
