I wonder what brand of mp3 player it is. Probably not an ipod.

Correct. Probably not an iPod. t iPod users would have been too intelligent to get lost on a freezing night. They must have been Zune users.

You're right. An iPod would definitely run out of battery power before a phone. Unless it was an iPod touch running one of those Flashlight apps.

Agreed. The article would have called it "iPod" otherwise.

Maybe it was one of those cheap knockoff pink "MP4" players.

They got lost attempting to find another zune to share music with. They should have given up after the first two weeks of walking.

Yes it was a brown Zune.

You can spot a glowing turd from a mile away.

it could also have been a sandisk. But agreed, you do not publish a story like this without telling us what brand it was, in case we ever go snowboarding in Switzerland we would need to know what one to take with us in the event that we are lost.

Agreed Dr_b_. Need to know which one. At least I have a good reason now to own an MP3 player. Previously, I couldn't think of a good reason that a middle-aged woman would actually NEED one. I might get lost and need it!
