M-Systems to boost Palm OS memory

M-Systems will collaborate with PalmSource to provide Palm OS support for its 2GB MLC NAND-based DiskOnChip H-series storage solution.

The plan, announced by M-Systems on Monday, is aimed at increasing the storage capacity on Palm OS devices, making it easier for them to play back multimedia content. Devices already using M-Systems' storage technology include PalmOne's Treo 650, Tungsten T5 and Qool Labs' QDA 700.
