Loudeye offers music services to AOL

Loudeye Technologies said Wednesday that it will begin offering its online music services to America Online, the latest in a string of deals with major media companies and record labels. Under the agreement, Seattle-based Loudeye will offer music samples and technology to encode songs into digital formats for the online giant. AOL in turn will use the technology across its various AOL Music properties, including its Spinner.com online radio service.
