In a move aimed to help drive adoption, Microsoft renames a series of bug fixes as Windows 98 SE, short for Second Edition. But changing a name won't deflect increasing scrutiny of the widely used operating system. Redmond now faces a complaint over the practice of collecting information on users when they register Windows 98.
