Listen aims for living room

Listen.com said Thursday that it is working with several home-electronics companies to bring its Rhapsody online music subscription service to living room stereos. Initial products supporting this drive will include Motorola's Simplefi and RCA's Lyra, each of which will take streaming audio from the computer and transmit it to a stereo. The music company is also working with chipmakers on future products that will let stereos and other home electronics systems tap into the Net and support Rhapsody directly, skipping the computer step.
