Linux Networx signs pact with Novell

Linux Networx, which makes high-performance technical computers out of clusters of lower-end servers, has signed a pact to help software companies certify their products with Novell's SuSE Linux operating system.

Among the software companies that will work at the new HPC Certification Center is Fluent, which sells fluid dynamics software that can be used for aerodynamic simulations. Linux Networx doesn't have a similar partnership with Novell's top rival, Red Hat, a company representative said.
