Linux Networx names top sales exec

Linux Networx has hired Rene Copeland to fill the newly created post of executive vice president for global sales and marketing, the Salt Lake City supercomputer maker said on Wednesday.

Copeland spent 17 years at supercomputer specialist Cray, rising to the level of vice president of sales and marketing. He also worked at Silicon Graphics and IBM, and most recently was vice president of sales for Platform Computing.
