Latest Linux for handhelds

Transvirtual Technologies has released its first version of Linux for handheld computers and other small devices. PocketLinux supports Kaffe, Transvirtual's clone of Sun Microsystems' Java software that makes it easier for programmers to write software without worrying about the hardware that will run it. PocketLinux already is available for the Compaq iPaq handheld; the Casio Cassiopeia E-105, E110 and E115; the NTT DoCoMo Sigmarion; and the IBM Workpad Z50.
