HD DVD Players = $250-300
by ArbitraryThinker September 5, 2007 10:26 AM PDT
The article incorrectly states that HD DVD players sell for around $400. The entry level HD DVD (HD-A2) player sells for $240 on Amazon. The second level player (HD-A20) is currently on sale at Best Buy for $299. It is only the high end HD DVD player that sells for more than $400. The Xbox 360 add-on drive has a MSRP of $179 making it the lowest cost option for those that already have an Xbox.

The entry level Blu-ray players can be found for as low as $450.
