"proper" to sue them? Kidding, right?
"also raises the question whether it is proper for a news organization or its reporters to sue a company they cover." Good grief. Get a grip! OK, let's say the company ordered a "hit" on the reporters' families. Would there be ANYBODY who would ask that "is it proper" question? What does the issue of covering the company for news have to do with suing the company for a civil wrong committed by the company. One is totally irrelevant to the other.

Self-important journalists in bed with lawyers anyway
You can easily tell the left wing journalists are the ones that need to sue even though no damages are apparent. The whole case has been a phony outrage anyway. Does any citizen care that HP wanted to try to find the Rat in their organization by spying on the journalists who were helping the Rat? I don't care... boo-ya to HP. Keep your company strong, brothers! Journalists are always most outraged when something happens to journalists.

but not you, right?
As long as it happens to someone else.

Your political bias is showing. Nice of you to confirm how your ilk have no respect for the rule of law. "The end justifies the means" ... yeah sure.

Tell me what justification for extending the illegal spying to reporter's [b]families?
