Java will be served with PowerBrowser
The company plans to add Java support to the new 1.5 version of PowerBrowser, which will be available in beta form as a free download from the Oracle Web site. A source close to the company described the upgraded version as a database query, development and publishing tool that creates pages viewable with any Web browser. Like version 1.0 of PowerBrowser, the upgrade will ship with Oracle Personal Server free of charge.
Originally introduced at Internet World in Boston last fall, PowerBrowser 1.0 features support for Visual Basic and will support Visual Basic script when Microsoft releases it.
