Iomega unveils CD-burning software

Iomega introduced on Monday its first CD-burning software for Windows-based computers and Macs. The Windows version of HotBurn is available for immediate download from Iomega?s Web site. It costs $29.95, or $19.95 as an upgrade for Iomega CD-rewritable drive owners. A Mac version will be available in November.

Like Roxio?s Easy CD Creator 5 for Windows and Roxio's Toast 5 Titanium for the Mac, Iomega?s software will burn either music or data to CDs. Roxio?s programs also will burn DVDs.
