Intuit updates QuickBase

Intuit has released a new version of its QuickBase online project management software. The update incorporates e-mail reminder features, new set-up tools, and programs for professionals in certain industries, such as real estate, property management and law. The updated software, introduced Monday, is available via the Web for a monthly fee of $249 for up to 10 users.

The company markets QuickBase as an alternative to spreadsheet programs. The product lets workers share plans and information related to sales, customer support, marketing and public relations. Intuit said it's signed up a number of new business customers for the product, including Affiliated Computer Services, Isis Pharmaceuticals and the Mt. Hood Ski Patrol.

Quickbase is great, but too expensive for my small business. I have recently found a company with a powwerful online database that is just one feature of an intranet. Check out www.eUnify.net or call 1-866-4eUnify.
