Intel under scrutiny
Intel, which dominates the market for computer microprocessors, is being investigated by the Federal Trade Commission for evidence of unfair competition in the semiconductor market, a probe that now is cutting across that industry. The company has been subjected
to numerous allegations that its business practices violate antitrust laws and that it strong-arms large customers from buying its competitors' products.
