Software maker JBoss said on Monday that Intel has invested in the company and will provide it technical resources for Java standards certification.
Intel Capital, the investment arm of chipmaker Intel, has invested an undisclosed amount in JBoss as part of a round of $10 million in venture capital the open-source middleware developer raised from Matrix Partners and Accel Partners. JBoss said Intel will also provide hardware to complete tests that demonstrate compliance with the Java 2 Enterprise Edition standard.
