Infogrames to build "Terminator" games

Games publisher Infogrames has announced a licensing agreement to develop PC and video games based on the "Terminator" movies. Infogrames plans titles for set-top game consoles, PCs and Macs based on the original "Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," with the first games expected to ship next spring.

Meanwhile, the French company said it aims to return to profitability in its new fiscal year that ends in June 2002. Europe's biggest video game publisher expects that a new distribution deal with game maker Sega could bring in an extra $85 million in sales between now and the end of 2002.

Reuters contributed to this report.
