"Readers can differentiate that it is an illustration."

This is true! At least until technology gets to the point where computer generated renderings are realistic and cheap enough to fool viewers into thinking otherwise. I remember going to see "Beowulf", and didn't realize that the characters were computer animated until several minutes into the movie.

Anyway, I think the tiger woods animation is one plausible explanation of what *may* have happened, and most people know it as such.

This is fine for tabloids as long as it is clear that it is a re-enactment and as long as the source of the information is noted (direct witness accounts, police reports, hearsay, scientific/forensic analysis or just guesswork).
