"I don't know if this is the best way to attract investment into the country," the executive said. "I know this is not the best way to create a base of development from which to export because there's no revenue from something free."
Imagine any city buying a fleet of buses that it was forbiden to fix, that could be only driven down several predesignated streets and that you could only tank up at Bill gas pump?
Imagine buying a house where you can't fix the plumbing: if there's a leak the contractor will suggest you wait for the plugin coming out in September or upgrade to the house-professional model.
What MS wants to pass as "normal" in software would be laughed at in just about any other aspect of life or business.
Oh yes, I forgot: The bus seats are nice and soft and the house comes standard with nice artwork, mostly outdoor nature scenes. That's why its all worthwhile.
Ha, ha, ha.
What rubish.
