Yahoo's search on the fly

Yahoo's Y!Q beta lets people search without leaving the Web page they're reading. In this example on Yahoo Sports, one gets a pop-up with links and an address bar when clicking on the search link.

Y!Q
I am finding the Y!Q contextual search highly manual and hard to use. It doesnt return the results I am hoping/looking for. On a side note, blinkx has been doing this for a while now and its much more automatic.

I agree...what does drug addiction have to do with football?
Some of the pictures on the C|Net site on this topic don't exactly demonstrate the search is contextual.

Hmmm, steroids?
I think maybe the engine is trying to link steroids to athletes over the past year. Anyway, the point is, why should we have to figure out how the search results are relevant to the topic? The majority of my results are similar. I am left wondering...how does it relate?
