The status of the Voom satellite service has been in doubt since Cablevision's decision last week to discontinue it. Initially the Voom Web site displayed this message.
How could anyone think about purchasing Voom when you do not know if they will be in business in two months. They are going to die because of their posting that said they will pull the plug at the end of March and now they say... they are in business again.
Do you remember when you first got broadband after telephone modems, Push buttons after the dial, search engines that replaced trips to the library, sliced bread - you get the picture (forgive the pun!) There's no going back. I love my VOOM. I stare at the picture quality with amazement and will be very unhappy if it doesn't pull through. You would never go back to a dial up modem and I could never go back to regular TV having seen HD
Hard to figure this company out.
