- Do you remember when you first got broadband after telephone modems, Push buttons after the dial, search engines that replaced trips to the library, sliced bread - you get the picture (forgive the pun!) There's no going back. I love my VOOM. I stare at the picture quality with amazement and will be very unhappy if it doesn't pull through. You would never go back to a dial up modem and I could never go back to regular TV having seen HD
