Images: Satellite Super Bowl

February 2, 2006 3:55 AM PST

You marvelous CNET News.com readers enjoyed our tech-HQ guessing game so much, we thought we'd provide a similar satellite-driven diversion prior to Super Bowl Sunday.

This time around, we ask you to match one of the teams in the following list of Super Bowl winners to one of the pictured stadiums (we know you geeks just wish you were jocks). Please note that the stadiums represented are, in all but one case, the current home of the listed team, not necessarily the venue the team occupied during the year(s) it won the big game (alas, a lot of those stadiums have been bulldozed).

We'll provide a list of correct matches, along with the stadium names, later in the week.

Got it? OK, here, in alphabetical order, is a list of all past Super Bowl winners. Which of the following stadiums do they call home?

Baltimore Ravens
Chicago Bears
Dallas Cowboys
Denver Broncos
Green Bay Packers
Kansas City Chiefs
Los Angeles Raiders
Miami Dolphins
New England Patriots
New York Giants
New York Jets
Oakland Raiders
Pittsburgh Steelers
St. Louis Rams
San Francisco 49ers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Washington Redskins

Here's some info on the first stadium:

A lighthouse motif leads fans through the main entrance of this facility, which has been the site of many a close shave for its home team. (Obviously it was still under construction when this photo was taken.)
