Iceberg strikes Antarctica

This photo, taken on Feb. 22, shows B-15A as it neared the ice tongue. The B-15A iceberg was once part of a larger berg, called the B-15, that was formed when it broke off from the Ross Ice Shelf in March 2000, according to the ESA. Before the B-15 berg broke into smaller pieces, it was about the size of Jamaica.

Ice melt

The ice melt world wide is a catastrophe beyond anything that today's scientists are acknowledging, threatening fresh water, global weather patterns and much more. The thing is, dumb dumbs, it's the radiation levels caused by ozone depletion that is primarily responsible and we can restore that level with current technology. The death of planet Earth falls squarely on the shoulders of those who should know better, the scientists. You disgust me. Sparrow.

I'm just 23 years old, but I am concerned about the planet that my grandchidren and great grandchildren will inhabit... Global Warming is causing more problems than good. It is the major source of the more violent and frequent storms taht are hitting everywhere... It is also the cause of the flooding of the islands of Tuvalu... The polar ice caps are thinning... the ice cap of Greenland is thinning by up to 1 meter per year!!!
All this fresh water joining the sea water is affecting the gulf stream... You people over there in northern europe could find yourself in an ice age... We need to do something and we need to do it NOW...
