Game companies haven't even confirmed what they'll call their next-generation consoles, but that hasn't stopped fans from creating logos, product mock-ups and more. Here are some of the better attempts, as collected and discredited by GameSpot's Rumor Control. Pictured is a Sony PlayStation 3 that looks more like a waffle iron.

developed together (PowerPC 750). We all know how MS is
concernet to copy every idea successfully developed by
Apple. Why not an iPod assembly for the Xbox 2? It
wouldn't be a surprise considering MS legacy to copy
instead of developing new ideas and concepts.

If all we should have are originals we would only have one car model, one piece of bread and we would all eat meat.
Thanks for innovation, foresight, investments and distribution.
Someone always has to start, but that does not always mean that they win any form of game.
Make it a great day.
Speaking of innovation!

And then I went back to my PC to finish the project after I had gotten what I needed out of Quark.
Sure, Apple's an innovator. So's Microsoft, so's Xerox. Imagine a world where cars all had their wheels in different places. (Apple would make you live with one wheel where two wheels would prove to be far more useful.)

As for Mac vs. PC, PS3 vs XBox 2, Nintendo... we all have our own preferences... Why not argue about whether blonds are prettier than brunettes.. of course you'll also have the guy who likes red heads... it doesn't matter, as long as you like what you've got. Who really cares...

All that in a small form factor is impressive.
Some may not prefer it, but I love it.
2 thumbs up on what I've seen so far!

- i don't think I'm the only one here who thinks that, ANY of those little drawings are the consoles of any generation. And by the way. I don't think any company will be releasing anything new for a while. And if they will, my vote always goes to Micosoft. They been bringing us entertainment before anything else was even close to as good. And those were actually a little weird.. But if I would have to guess what the next console would look like, I would have to say, it won't be much different from what we've been getting so far. Smaller, thinner, maybe, but it'll still have the controller and the rest, like its been having for years.
