How field emission displays work

Field emission displays, or FEDs, feature a sort of hybrid television technology. They use the electron guns of CRT sets and the layering of components found in LCD screens.

Electrons just rocks
This is a type of display technology I wish for and hopefully it will replace PC LCD monitor soon.

Up to date I still love my SONY E200 FD-Trinitron Monitor - High contrast and 0.24um pitch still running right now.

Wish FED can produce 0.22um pixel size....wish it can go smaller.
