A Mac OS X-themed version of Google's Web site was taken down a day after its debut. Note the nod to OS X in the rhyme at the bottom of the page.

- I saw Google's active page and was impressed. For me it's a matter of consistency. there are plenty of good search engines out there to choose from. To choose Google just because of their popularity is a mistake. But to choose Google because it Looks like everything else on your desktop; That's a reason! Why are big corporations so afraid to endorse MAC? Is Google subject to the Microsoft attitude that they buckled under pressure? Microsoft makes their office suite for the MAC, but left out many of the functionalities. I don't mean to start a MAC OS vx. Microsoft OS comparison (there's far too much to say and the choice there is clear). The quick deployment and removal of the Google's MAC OSX-like web page just brought that comparison to bear in my mind.
