Internet Security Systems on Monday plans to announce new vulnerability management services. The company previously offered vulnerability assessment services and is now expanding into full management services, competing in a crowded market with rivals including Qualys, Computer Associates and Lockdown Networks.
The new ISS Vulnerability Management Service uses internal and external scanning services to identify security risks and can help organizations fix and track software flaws in their network, ISS said in a statement. The service can work with ISS' intrusion detection, monitored firewall and security intelligence services, according to ISS. The basic service starts at about $200 per month and is meant for businesses of any size.
