Internet Security Systems and Crossbeam Systems are expected to announce Tuesday they will collaborate to deliver ISS's intrusion prevention software (IPS) on Crossbeam's security switches. The partnership, which targets telecommunications carriers, is designed to take the IPS protection found on internal telecom networks and deploy it on external networks.
