IBM is set to introduce on Monday a new version of its free IBM OmniFind Yahoo Edition enterprise search software that corporations can use to search for information stored within their organizations and across the Web.
The new version includes localized language support for Brazilian and continental Portuguese, as well as simplified and traditional Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Dutch, Hungarian, Polish and Swedish. The software also allows users to more easily build custom search applications or add customized content and to do advanced searches by using tagging and metadata to refine results.
