- Wow, more bad legislation from the GOP congress...
- I'm not surprised. A bit taken by the gull these thugs have for constantly legislating anything a person might want to do in life, but not surprised. People just still won't get it. It's been the GOP who has always wanted to restrict freedoms. Bush often lamented how easier his job would be if he was a dictator.

- both parties do, though each in different areas. Case in point, we just had a city-wide smoking ban in PRIVATE businesses here. Entirely originated and supported by the Democrats. If you're a private business owner, or a patron of that business, you don't have the freedom to smoke in the establishment. Restriction of freedom? Yes. Different vice, same mentality.
