Holiday Inn welcomes Priceline

Priceline.com on Monday said InterContinental Hotels Group, which includes the Holiday Inn chain, has added the reservations Web site as a certified online distributor. The agreement means that Priceline will offer InterContinental's 3,500 hotels worldwide to its online bidding service.

The deal comes a week after InterContinental ended its relationship with InterActiveCorp's Expedia and Hotels.com reservation sites. On the same day, InterContinental added rival Travelocity as a certified distributor.
