Handspring available in Europe

Handspring said Monday that its Treo cell phone/organizer combination device is now available in Europe. Through a number of separate distribution deals, the device is now available in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Sweden and Norway, the company said.

Handspring has recently announced sales, marketing and distribution agreements with European distributors and carriers including mm02, APE Telecom and SFR. The Treo will also be available in Switzerland by the end of March through Orange Switzerland.
