HP to sell Voltaire's InfiniBand switch

Hewlett-Packard has signed a deal to resell switches from Voltaire that employ the InfiniBand high-speed networking technology, the companies said Monday. Voltaire's full line of switches will be available to link groups of Linux servers into high-performance computing clusters.

In addition, the companies said customers for the joint product include Shanghai University and the Commissarriat a l'Energie Atomique in France.
