Google on Tuesday announced the appointment of Ann Mather to its board of directors. Mather, who will serve as a chairwoman of the search giant's audit committee, previously held the chief financial officer post at Pixar Animation Studios.
Mather served as Pixar CFO between 1999 and 2004, when she retired to "devote more time to her family." She currently serves on the boards of Central European Media Enterprises and the former Shopping.com, prior to its acquisition by eBay this year.
