Google Maps adds browsers

Google said its new map feature now supports the Opera browser and Apple Computer's Safari browser.

The search engine earlier this month launched a beta version of its map service. The new service already supported Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Mozilla Foundation's Firefox browsers. The map service covers the United States, Puerto Rico and parts of Canada.
