Hello,
I have a Takagi TK-2 on demand hot water heater installed in my home. I have 5 kids and they really enjoy long showers. Although it is a nice luxury to have endless hot water, my gas bill is way too high. I have been looking around for some kind of timer that could be installed on the unit so that it would produce hot water for a pre-determined length of time (about 17-20 min.) then cut off and wait for awhile (about 5 min.) My 16 year old daughter has been known to take as long as 1 ? hour showers!
A timer built into the circuitry would help them learn water/resource management. Do you know if this is possible? If a timer is on the market? Or could you point my towards someone that could build me such a device?
