PC maker Gateway on Monday its Chief Financial Officer Rod Sherwood is due to retire later this year. Sherwood said he has no immediate plans after he leaves Gateway. He worked with Chrysler, Hughes Telecommunications and Space Company, and Loudcloud before joining Gateway in October 2002.
In a separate announcement, Gateway said the firm?s vice president and corporate controller, Neal West, was elevated to the post of principal accounting officer. He joined the company earlier this year.
