Enjoying third place?

Perhaps next time, Sony, you'll give us a game console that - you know - just plays games.

Stop trying to trojan horse your proprietary media formats to consumers.

same thing can be said of Micro$oft

Wii is first place {me thinks}

the card reader does more then memory stick pro duo and their blueray strategy paid-off for the format war {sadly not for games though}.

and DOWN WITH SONY DRM!
It ain't so bad...

I bought the PS3 to play HD content on my new TV. It was just two hundred more than any other bottom of the line HD-DVD or Blue Ray plyer and several hundred less than some other brand name HD players.

As a side benefit it plays games also and has some good titles here and coming in the next few months.

I don't find the unit offensive in any way, it suits me just fine thank you.

Buy what you want or need and keep politics out of it.

All the games that came out are very good, maybe not all, but most are and Sony also comes out with unique games that you don't see on the MS or Wii platforms as well.

I love my PS3 - this is trash taking, in the long run PS3 will win.
should be: GAMES GAMES GAMES
by ColdMast September 7, 2007 7:40 AM PDT
that's should be "AAA" GAMES GAMES GAMES

how did factor 5 screw up so bad on L*A*I*R? {even after it was delayed}: should change their name to factor 5/10

it bad enough to have heavenly sword be an average title {with the amount of money they sunk into it}.

But to release a game that is this bad {LAIR} when
Big N releases Metroid on the Wii

SONY has a simple plan, get everyone who bought a PS2 to buy a PS3, but SONY can't do it with the same strategy that made the PSX FAIL.

They should be advertising WARHAWK, SONY's second AAA title for the PS3 plus the FREE PSN.

The way I look at it.

It's a gaming console with a bluray player for $500 and 5 free bluray movies. Considering the avg bluray movie costs $30, I'm essentially saving $250 after the $100 price drop. It also plays all my PS2 games and there are enough fun PS3 out to keep our casual gaming needs filled while we wait for newer/better titles.
