Why is this even news?
by March 2, 2006 10:22 AM PST: Why is this news? The article itself mentions Steam, a 3 year old system for distruting games via download. And smaller companies have been doing this for many years prior to even that.

Its seems to me Rueters just got a game company's press release and decided it'd make an easy story to fill some reporter's monthly quota.; Reply to this comment
