Gambling ban back before Congress

Attempts to ban online gambling are back before Congress.

The House Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Crime will consider whether to recommend Rep. Bob Goodlatte's "Combating Illegal Gambling Reform and Modernization Act" to the full committee at a meeting Tuesday afternoon. The bill would, among other things, prohibit banks from accepting credit cards and other payments for online gambling. Goodlatte, R-Va., has tried unsuccessfully to push anti-gambling bills for several years.
