Fujitsu releases LifeBook series

Fujitsu PC released its new LifeBook E notebook series Thursday. The notebooks are available in three configurations but can also be customized. They weigh about 6 pounds, come with 14.1-inch screens and feature an Intel mobile Pentium III processor at 650MHz, 750MHz or 850MHz. Prices range from $1,499 to $2,399.

The notebooks have a bay for CD-ROM, DVD or CD-RW drives or for a second battery, which can extend battery life to up to eight hours. The LifeBook E Series is available at retail and on the company's Web site.
