Former Cisco exec joins Red Hat board

Edward Kozel, managing director of International Finance and Cisco's former chief technology officer and head of business development, has joined the board of Linux seller Red Hat, the company said Monday. Kozel also is a board member of Reuters, Yahoo, and Symbol Technologies.

The election to the board was effective Oct. 1, Red Hat said.
